Sustainability is not just a buzzword at Unilin Insulation. Although our insulation products contribute towards the sustainability of homes and buildings, we also put a huge amount of effort into the way we operate. Sustainability is deep in our DNA, from our production of wind energy to how we enable the recycling of PIR insulation.

Recycling PIR? No problem!

There are various ways of transforming PIR into a recycled product. For instance, chemical recycling lets us reclaim the original raw material and mechanical recycling turns the waste into humidity-resistant construction boards or insulated panels. A third option is valorising energy in the cement industry.
